About Momme

The postpartum care experience every mom deserves.

Where We Started

Built in Arkansas, for moms everywhere.

In Arkansas, 51 of 75 counties lack labor and delivery services. That reality shaped Momme from the beginning: postpartum support has to reach moms wherever they go home.

Momme was built to extend expert-backed guidance, daily check-ins, and connection to care beyond the hospital — including in rural communities where access can be harder to reach.

We believe postpartum care shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code.

The Postpartum Care Gap

Momme is closing the postpartum care gap.

Our Founder

Founding Story

For Momme founder Kim Lane, a mother of two living in Arkansas, one of the states with the highest maternal mortality rates in the country, the need for better postpartum care was deeply personal.

After experiencing postpartum anxiety herself and losing someone in her life to postpartum complications, Kim became determined to change the postpartum experience for moms.

On the final day of her maternity leave with her second child, she committed to building Momme.

Not another baby app. An app for the mom.

Nearly three years in the making, Momme was built in the quiet, sleepless hours of motherhood. Between breastfeeding two babies and countless nights spent designing every detail of the app's user experience and interface after her children fell asleep, Kim brought to life something she wished every mother had during postpartum recovery.

In May 2026, Momme debuted to healthcare providers at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting, followed by its consumer launch on Mother's Day.

What began as one mom's deeply personal experience became a mission to make sure other moms never have to navigate postpartum feeling alone.

Written for her

Clear, approachable guidance that makes complex health information easy to understand, no matter her background, experience, or where she lives.

OB patients, especially first-time moms, have so many questions about the changes to their bodies, and everything that they experience seems to be an emergency. Momme gives me confidence that moms are receiving timely support, answers to everyday questions, and clearer direction on when medical attention may truly be needed.
